Adding a Voicemail to your Acres of Timber CRM

Hey Woodpreneurs! If you read our blog earlier this month you may have found yourself thinking about getting a CRM to help streamline your business. Over the next few weeks we’ll be posting some tutorials based on our CRM to showcase features you should look for when scaling your business.


Today we’re gonna do a quick tutorial on how to add a voicemail to your Acres of Timber CRM. This is an awesome feature, and it’s really easy to use. All you need to do is navigate to the sidebar and hit settings. If it’s collapsed, just look for the arrow in the bottom left corner and expand it.
Once you’re in settings, you can navigate over to the company tab beside profile, then scroll down until you see call and voicemail settings. From there you record the voice file in mp3 or WAV format and then hit upload. 

 

To ensure that your voicemail works, do not leave the incoming call setting. This means if there’s an incoming call, it will just ring indefinitely and not go to voicemail. What you want is to add a timeout time. This means that after 10 to 20 seconds or even less the call will get directed to the voicemail. Double-check to make sure that you have uploaded your file then save the call settings and you’ll be ready to go!
