Vehicle Dolly
Having a vehicle dolly at home is a game-changer. It will make working much easier and it the whole process will go a lot faster every time.
We are going to run to 3 different stores today, to pick up some orders and get some tools needed to put the TYM 85 Backhoe attachment onto his tractor.
Tractor Supply
Nathan’s destination number 1 is the tractor supply, one of his favorite stores. He will be going to pick up two things. Spark plugs for the old chainsaw ( MS290 Chainsaw) and an impact socket for the backhoe installation.
Home Depot
Nathan needs an impact wrench. He can’t believe he doesn’t already have one and thought that he already had just about Every tool he could need in the sawmill business.
We suggest keeping your tools well organized and taking inventory from time to time. This will help you to monitor which things need replacing or upgrading before they become problems.
Clean up day
Not every day at the mill is a fun day of sawing. You have to stop what you are doing once in a while to do a clean-up day otherwise it can impact your workflow, your products, and the safety of your workspace.
Nathan did not clean up for a year and over that time the bark and sawdust compounded into about six inches of dust and debris on his floor. Cleaning up after your work each day, or even just once per week will be plenty to help keep your space manageable so that you can focus on the actual work that needs doing.
