Make money with a furniture business by Jennie and Davis

We have something today that we know will be valuable, so check out this article to know more about starting a woodworking business!

Outsource

If you don’t have something or you don’t know how to do the specific things that your customer wants, do not be afraid to secure the project and then try to look for someone who can do those specific aspects for you. It will help you save more time and money. It will be worth it to outsource the simple things for your project.

Pitch Products and Ideas

Pitch products and ideas, this will help you get sales.

For example, imagine your customer really wants to have a cool pattern for their bookshelves you’re not as comfortable with and you already pitched ideas that you could do, but still, they want that specific pattern. Go get that project and look for someone who can do the design for you. Again outsource. Make yourself the project manager.

Do not be intimidated by the projects that you don’t know how to do because you can just find somebody who knows how to do that part of the project.

Creating your own furniture

After Jennie and I got married we build all the furniture in our house, we realized that furniture was way cheaper to build yourself than it was to buy it from the store and it was 9/10 higher quality to build it than to buy it. Then you can sell some of the things that you make, to your friends or family.

For some of you that are wanting or trying to start a woodworking business, I want to help you to be able to afford that without using any money out of your own pocket. Sell something, sell some furniture, frames, or plaques and make yourself enough money to be able to buy whatever tool you want or a new truck!

I want to help you to make enough money with your woodworking business.

Make yourself visible, sell furniture get on the Facebook marketplace, and make flyers and business cards. We want to make you start and earn money as fast as you can instead of wasting your time and losing money for the first 9 months until you figure your stuff out.
